TALKING BIRD

 

One day a tourist wanted to buy a talking bird. So he went to a bird shop. In the bird shop, there were three talking birds. Talking bird number one, talking bird number two, and talking bird number three.

The tourist looked at the talking bird number one. The price was US 100 (one hundred US dolar). The shopkeeper said, that this talking bird could speak two languages, English and Indonesian. The tourist nooded many times showing his admiration.

Then the tourist looked at the talking bird number two. The price was US 300 (three hundred US dolar). The shopkeeper said that this talking bird could speak three languages, English, Indonesia, and Javanese.

And finally, the tourist peered at the talking bird number three. The price was US 500 (five hundred US dolar). It was more expensive among them. But it could not speak at all. The tourist was very surprise, so he asked the shopkeeper, “Why is the talking bird number three more expensive than the others, but it can not speak?”. And the shopkeeper answered, “Eventhough the talking bird number three can not speak, but every morning, the talking bird number one and the talking bird number two, always greet the talking bird number three..., “Good morning, Bos”.
